Following the ddirections in spirit ring, by going southeast and south all the way then east twice then north to the banshee, kill it for the spirit key. Then bakc south and west all the way, I believe you need to type "tree to enter the tree and you will enter the passage to go to the treasury in the hollows. It will take you in a southeasternly direction, beware there are things there to attack you, and two dread at the end of the pathway. Stopping at the door before entering the treasury, it is  advisable to give someone all your gear just in case something goes wrong, because the room is a death trap if you aren't careful. 
So take the spirit key and unlock  the door, then go east, what ever you do! never ever ever ever never never ever! touch or look at anything in the room, it will summon dread on your ass. Instead break glass, then run west. the white seed will fall into your invintory. 
Then once you get out of the hollows, go north all the way in the elven forest and give it to the tree/one of the guardians of nature and once you give it to the tree, the staff of nature will be on the ground.
